New facility supports continued growth with upgraded manufacturing and more efficient warehousing

Now, the inventor and manufacturer of Mosquito Dunks® is preparing to relocate its offices and manufacturing facilities to Hunt Valley, Maryland, investing in the next chapter of its growth.
Summit’s early customers included canneries, industrial bakeries, and poultry businesses in Baltimore and on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. In the 1970s, the company expanded into mosquito control for the public health and vector control industry. Since 1978, Summit has manufactured and distributed pest control products from East Baltimore, building its reputation through product quality, practical expertise, and responsive customer service.

The investment supports continued growth through upgraded manufacturing capabilities, more efficient warehousing, and improved facilities for employees and management. The move will begin in the last week of October 2026 and continue through November, with completion scheduled by the end of November 2026.

Located approximately two miles from Interstate 83, the new facility offers convenient highway access and connections to the Port of Baltimore and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Together, these improvements position Summit to support its customers and distribution needs as the business grows.
