The Arctic-Temp® series generates dense, hard-cracked ice through Holiday Ice’s proprietary double-walled vertical evaporator tubes, which freeze ice simultaneously on both interior and exterior surfaces. This dual-surface freeze process produces faster harvest cycles and more efficient heat exchange compared to single-wall tube designs, lowering energy consumption during the 24-hour continuous production runs that are standard in industrial seafood environments. The freeze zone contains no augers, gears, or rotating seals, removing the most common mechanical failure points found in high-volume ice production. All Arctic-Temp® units are constructed from Type-304 stainless steel and fitted with Copeland compressors, using standard refrigeration components available through local wholesalers in nearly every market Holiday Ice serves.
